A few old timey spots from the days of yore, when shoot budgets were unrestrained. “Hurricane Rusty” was directed by Ridley Scott. “Cowardly Baskets,” with Dominique Wilkins, was originally scheduled to run on the Super Bowl, until my boss, appropriately named “Dick,” decided to run his own commercial. The Dee Brown spot features Doug Paul, my voice over mentor from my Atlanta radio days. The Sinbad “two inch vertical” spot was one of a half dozen commercials I wrote and produced as part of the infamous “Dan and Dave” Olympics effort. There are others, but the sands of time have eroded them.

The Amex spot (part of a campaign) was shot in Chamonix, France, site of the 1992 Winter Olympics. My partner shot it while I remained chained to a Mac Classic at 79 Fifth Avenue.
